Wartime drama, filmed on the Black Isle, starring Phyllis Logan and Giovanni Mauriello. At the end of the Second World War in a rural Scottish farming community, a young housewife leads a cold, laborious life with her husband. She finds herself drawn to Luigi, one of three Italian PoWs, and embarks on an impulsive and hazardous affair.
