Nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, Knife in the Water 1962 is Roman Polanski’s first feature film. On their way to a sailing trip, an aging husband and his beautiful wife invite along an emphatic young hitchhiker after nearly running him over. In a story of rivalry and sexual tension, the three characters find themselves sailing together in what is still regarded by many as one of Polanski’s finest films.

When young couple Rosemary and Guy Woodhouse move into a New York apartment building with a disturbing history, strange things begin to happen. As the bad dreams and unexplained noises intensify, Rosemary becomes pregnant and begins to suspect that their friendly circle of neighbours are not what they seem.
