VIEWING SESSION

In July and August we've chosen screenings of new releases in the Eden Court Cinema programme for viewing and informal discussion. We'll be joining the Eden Court Cinema audience at this performance and then chatting it over afterwards in informal discussion, lead by arts writer Georgina Coburn - do join us!

For over 40 years Brazilian photographer Sebastião Salgado has travelled across continents, witnessing some of the major conflicts and upheavals in humanity's recent history. From documenting mass exodus, war and famine, he is now turning his attention to the beauty of the natural environment in a project capturing the earth's wild places, flora and fauna. Winner of eight international film awards including the Un Certain Regard - Special Jury Prize at Cannes and Nominated for Best Documentary at the 2015 Academy Awards, The Salt of the Earth is a visually stunning portrait of an extraordinary photographer, of the earth and its people.
