One of the Coen Brothers' finest and best loved films, Fargo tells the story of struggling car salesman Jerry Lundegaard's bungled attempts at embezzlement and kidnapping, three grisly murders and the tenacious work of a very pregnant Police Chief Marge Gunderson to solve the crimes. Nominated for seven Academy Awards, winning Best Original Screenplay and Best Actress for Frances McDormand and winning Best Director at the 1996 Cannes Film Festival for Joel Coen, this is a film full of comedy, suspense, violence and satire. The performances are brilliant and the script is as sharp as they come - don't miss it!
